There was a reason that we signed Niasse and Sala in that transfer window. The tactic of playing Paterson up front had run its course. We played Spurs and Huddersfield in consecutive home games at the beginning of January and didn't come close to scoring.

He was made to shoot on sight of goal because the rest of his team were generally the other side of the half way line.

      Same happened to Zohore

Promised so much, but whenever I saw him, I thought he needed beefing out a bit. Too easily pushed off the ball.

That's a very simplistic view. He missed some absolute sitters when he was here. Nothing to do with the position of his teammates.

Ho long would it take to get him fit? And how much money would it cost? There must be better options. Although, he's not earning at the moment, so you never know.

Any idea who might be incoming? I see Oumar Niasse is a free agent :getscoat:

Would be decent in the Championship ,didn't he do well at Hull on loan?

                  Probably want silly money.

                    I hadn't heard of this.
Police are set to probe professional soccer player Gavin Whyte after footage emerged of him apparently masturbating in the street. The shocking video shows the Northern Ireland international and a …

                        Re: Whyte to Hull

In the short term, we don't have the biggest squad so cutting a player even for a limited period of time is a risky move. He appeared to be one who Harris was trying to build up into a productive player this season.

In the longer term, Gavin Whyte has one of the longest contracts at the club (he's in the Bacuna club as is Nelson, Moore and Phillips to give you an idea) and he needs a run of games to turn potential into performance and then regular performances.

We have players in the youth set up that can fill in wide when needed.

Whyte should have been out on loan all season.

Whyte is contracted until 2023? Christ, at least he'll be useful in League One for us in his final season :hehe:
