Re: Another question..
I think the fact that it isn't on BBC/ITV/Sky/S4C makes a difference.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostThat’s what I was thinking - incredible to think Wales are playing in a few hours time and I’m not sure who it’s against.
Is next week’s game clashing with the Huddersfield match?
Shared sporting and cultural experiences are becoming a thing of the past.
It will soon be more subscription channels than not (if not already with Sky) - but now most listings and preview guides I see have more from Netflicks, Apple, Amazon Prime etc than the traditional channels.

Yes, think you’re right Jon. I’m watching the cricket at the moment and Sky we’re so busy showing adverts they almost missed a Sri Lanka bowler taking a hat trick. Obviously, that’s not a problem on Amazon Prime and Netflix - Sky, BT Sport etc will have to up their game.Originally posted by jon1959 View PostI think the fact that it isn't on BBC/ITV/Sky/S4C makes a difference.

The South Africa game kicks off 5.30 - can’t see me watching it whether I go the City game or not.

Live post from St David’s Centre. Surrounded by sheep-hatted, daffodil-wearing rugby supporters with the odd Kiwi looking lost. Only came in for an eye test coz booked up for weeks. Ear buds in, listen to match and quietly sob into my soya cappuccino in a dark corner of Nero’s. Think I might treat myself to an extra sprinkle of chocolate. Up the City! ⚽️⚽️⚽️Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostYes, think you’re right Jon. Re: Another question..
I notice Radio Wales didn't have rights to broadcast the game, either. They were snapped up by Talkshite.Originally posted by jon1959 View PostI think the fact that it isn't on BBC/ITV/Sky/S4C makes a difference.
