I actually thought he looked decent when he played for us (albeit reserves), along with Daehli. I can't remember many more of the raft of players brought in at that time though to TBH.

I think a few players from that 'era' that were brought in looked good.... however we had a manager who brought in around 200 players and didn't even pretend to try and develop any kind of style of play.

I actually thought he looked decent when he played for us (albeit reserves), along with Daehli. I can't remember many more of the raft of players brought in at that time though to TBH.

Ole signed seven players in the Jan window. I think Berget made his debut in the FA Cup defeat against Wigan (it was certainly the first time I saw him). I thought Berget was shockingly poor myself; Daehli started brightly and looked a prospect despite running like a girl; Eikrem was a slower version of Whittingham; Juan Cala looked decent but was regularly all over the place; Fabio was a great signing IMHO; Kenwynne Jones looked a good signing but I don't think we ever really played to his strengths; Zaha on loan was dreadful bar the odd 15 minutes here and there where he actually made an effort.

he's doing the same thing to this day, just assembling a bunch of good players and hoping that'll be enough.
