I think that he was coaching at welsh league level until recently. Nice bloke. I remember him giving me a lift in his white Mini Metro. I was only a kid and he pretended that he had a Turbo button at the bottom of the car seat which made the car go faster. I was so impressed until i realised he was just putting his foot down on the gas. Crazy days

I LOVE watching game like this....real football....effort....no passing sideways...backwards....back again....
Know it's a smaller crowd but also seeing them running on the pitch at the end to acclaim their team....just like I did when we beat Aston Villa to get promotion in 1960. There was also a photo of a young lad in his scarf....he will always remember this night.

Obviously the cup run where we beat Man City and Boro. I can't remember us being 'giant killers' any other time.

Were Brentford a league above us when we beat them?

Losing to Enfield was a particular highlight although it was memorable for the performance going on off the pitch.

QPR away in a replay was a laugh. The tie made more memorable as City had the gate receipts nicked from Ninian Park after the home game.

Late 80s we beat them up there which I can remember.

We also played them in 93 and had a replay with them. I'm going to confess I've just read that as I have no recollection of that tie ever happening.

It's the early 90s and I'm surprised I remember the 1-0 loss.

Corinthian Casuals (the other CCFC) were very unlucky to lose to St Albans City in the last round after conceding a 94th min equaliser at home and then going out on penalties in the replay, when most of the players had to play the game after finishing work! :-o
