Had a heavy cold since early October but it finally seems to be easing this week.
Did a PCR test on Monday and it's just come back negative, so all is good.

It's probably down to us being locked away last year and not creating herd immunity to the that years cold virus, now its mutating as there are fresh humans to grab??

As a defence against the Rona, and the expected coming Flu, I have been on Vitamin C, Vitamin D3 & Zinc for quite a while, and the unexpected bonus is that I generally feel better than normal, and will carry on with the extra vitamins once, if this ever ends!!!

I've been the same since last Thursday. Thought it may have been the flu jab I had but still rough. No temp. but sweats and aches, coughing, wheezing. Started to feel better for a couple of days then rough again yesterday. Brandy, honey & lemon help me sleep. If money's tight, just skip the honey and lemon!

I've been the same since last Thursday. Thought it may have been the flu jab I had but still rough. No temp. but sweats and aches, coughing, wheezing. Probably worth getting a pcr test if you haven’t. Mine just staffed with a sore throat and got worse but was covid even tho lateral flow was negative

Was feeling a bit rough last weekend and by Monday had got worse. Took a Lateral Flow Test which came up positive. Waiting for the result of my PCR Test, but I suspect that's just going to be a formality.

Developed a chest infection as well so not a good week all told. I'm finding the fatigue the hardest to deal with. Just want to go to sleep all the time.

Yup, I ordered one for myself and Mrs Citizen. My immune system's wrecked anyway and have been positive before but with very mild symptoms (luckily). Right now though I feel bad. Mrs C has been rough too and she never gets ill.

Similar here, been 'sniffling' for weeks and 5 days ago started with sore throat and then onto chest. Marginally better today. This morning went into Missus's bedroom [threw me out because I am keeping her awake], and started telling her how bad I was, and she said 'there's nothing wrong with you, go to the gym', so I did. Struggled a bit, but the fitness chap there said it will just sort itself out slowly. Oh, and I also rang the Doctor this morning and the receptionist told me to go to the chemist [!].

Yeah I’ve been feeling rough all week. My misses too , she’s tested positive for the Rona. I have to test daily in work and I’ve been negative on the lateral flow. Just delete lousy and so tired.
