Unseeded: Turkey, Poland, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Austria, Czech Republic

..why do we have to olay italy or portugal..our mini group of 4 could be..

Scotland
Austria
Macedonia
...for example..beat austria at home..scotland beat Macedonia at home..us v jocks in the final..winner goes to qatar..

Yes we could win the semi final but then play Italy away in the final. That’s the worst case scenario. We could get Scotland at home.
Personally I don’t think any of our semi final opponents will be easy. We need a bit of luck too and hope for a home final. Quite why the finals can’t be played at neutral venues is beyond me.

I didn’t say have to but there’s a decent chance. Fingers crossed we won’t.

I wouldn’t be too happy about playing Scotland either the form they’ve been in. Especially at Hampden.

So that we can have Euro 2020 all over again, with big countries like Italy/Portugal having guaranteed home games.
