Saw them at the same venue almost exactly three years ago and it was a blast. Got to spend lots of time with the guys before and after the show and they were great company.

I thought Shame’s debut album was the best by any new band in decades. Wasn’t too keen on the second album initially, but it’s grown on me after seeing them perform some of the tracks live. They really are a brilliant live act.

the thing is Sludge bands don't need to make albums anymore, its about single releases to raise your profile and touring to make money. There is plenty of quality albums out there though, and what is the best in decades will undoubtedly be a personal choice, but saying that, Songs of Praise is very good indeed.
