They don't pay rent to Swansea Council. The stadium has been leased to them.

So they pay rent as a lessee

Depends which way you look at it.
I don't think they have a pot to piss either at the moment despite 7 seasons in the sun , parachute payments and player sales.

But, if it’s all gone in the American owner’s pocket for example, doesn’t that make the fact that they’ve been better than us for most of the time since we’ve been relegated and definitely looked the better side in most of the derby games all the more impressive when you consider how much Warnock in particular was given to spend?

If the owner's have syphoned the money i can't see them putting to much back in so after all their seven year glory and parachute payments they ain't much better than us financially

Made a profit according to their latest accounts - for now, they're better than us on and off the pitch, although we do seem to be better than them at the moment when it comes to emerging talent.
