It was the whole fleeing the country that really showed her up for a shit human.

I'm sure it was a tragic accident, I'm sure she has felt remorse but to run away was cowardly.

If she had fronted up she would have been home by now and attempted to move on with her life and the Dunn's would have at the very least had some sort of justice.

It doesn't seem she is coming here for this? And I assume any prison sentence would still need extradition unless she was able to serve it there.

Unlikely . Biden has said she will NOT be deported under any circumstances.
The family has been compensated financially by the Americans . Not sure how much a son is worth though.

This must be true, however, if the jury find her guilty the US will stop her returning to the UK
