Who cares. Its a Mickey Mouse tournament.

I like it. it's 100000000x better than the friendlies it has replaced. it is actually a very hard tournament to win. those groups are tougher than anything you'd see at the world cup

It hasn't replaced friendlies though. We still play them. Instead of playing two games on an international break we play three.

Have they? Other than the China cup and the euros warm up games we’ve played very few friendlies since about 2016.

I can’t remember us playing 3 games during an international break very often.

I’m a big fan of the nations league, much better than friendlies and feels like the games matter a bit more and are played at a much higher intensity.

Just saw they’re adding South American teams from 2024 too. All games still played in Europe though, will make it even better IMO.

Holland and Belgium are pretty glamorous!
