    Re: Mick McCarthy

Seen it all. Done it all. Deadpan to the core. I like McCarthy, but I wouldn't fancy him as our manager.

His pre-match interview is on here:

Town boss Mick McCarthy has hinted he's likely to make changes to his team for Wednesday’s home game against Cardiff City, the second of the Blues’ three games in seven days.

Loved the way he brushed off the fuss over his celebration earlier.

Then some journalist wouldn’t let it drop so he gave him one of his dead pan stares :hehe:

I like McCarthy. As somebody above said... i dont think i would want him for our manager but he is good to have in the game and media. I think similarly about Holloway, enjoy him in the game but please not at our club.

I can't stand Holloway - it all seems a bit staged with him. McCarthy is good though.

A good footballing lad, but he has a voice so drab that if he ever read poetry, it would sound like he's reading a list of building materials.

Funny as most of the comments following that article from Ipswich fans say the same - not happy with him at all

Has some of the best quotes in football:

Reports “some people may see that as 2 points dropped”

Mick “ some people can f*ck off”

Also when he was playing for Barnsley they were all supposed to meet Margret Thatcher but Mick’s dad is a miner and refused.
