OK it was a slightly daft challenge but even more ridiculous is the overreaction to it. You can see what he's trying to do- trap the ball- he doesn't go through the back of the Bournemouth player, essentially he trips him up. Then we get the Bournemouth player rolling around like he's had a career threatening injury, and their players piling in, followed by the usual platitudes like 'studs up', 'from behind' etc etc. Yellow card for me. And a yellow card for the Bournemouth player's reaction. Football, not theatrics please.
