this chart shows xg for / against for all games this season to the end of December.
not great, but we aren't the worst team out there.
the statsbomb xg model apparently uses more data than many others, which are often just the X,y position that the shot was taken from. theirs also takes into account where all the defenders and goalkeeper is positioned at the time of the shot, the height of the ball and where the pass has come from etc
