Re: Cardiff recall Ryan Wintle from Blackpool
Agree. We are seriously lacking wide creativity and it might be our only hope getting JM back (can't believe I'm saying this).Originally posted by Former Labour leader View PostUnless Morison is able to put a rocket up Murphy's arse, we are absolutely lacking any flair going forward now that Giles has gone.
Wintle may be decent but is essentially defensive midfield.
Wintle playing just in front of a back four (which i reckon would suit NG better than a five) which would mean we would have to have Pack as the playmaker in the middle and get Murphy playing off the shoulder.
That would also mean the other midfielders having to work extremely hard to accommodate this "luxury".
Unless of course Morison has another card up his sleeve :sherlock:

Morison seems to favour 352, but I agree Ng not suited to wide role. Neither would Murphy, as he does not do defensive side of game.Originally posted by MacAdder View PostAgree. We are seriously lacking wide creativity and it might be our only hope getting JM back (can't believe I'm saying this).

IMO we need 2 full backs who can play in that formation.

Exactly what we need though, someone more solid in the middle can allow others to give us more going forward. We certainly need more width though.Originally posted by Former Labour leader View PostUnless Morison is able to put a rocket up Murphy's arse, we are absolutely lacking any flair going forward now that Giles has gone.

Murphy is injured. He's played 70 minutes all season. He won't be back.Originally posted by Former Labour leader View PostUnless Morison is able to put a rocket up Murphy's arse, we are absolutely lacking any flair going forward now that Giles has gone.
