  • Re: Fa Cup 4th Round - LIVERPOOL AWAY

Liverpool starting selling tickets from tomorrow, £23-26 in the anfield road home end.

Hopefully we get allocated and sell the full 8,000.

About 30% cheaper than Bristol are charging for Ashton Gate...

How shit a view must you get in the Upper Main Stand if it's £9 a ticket :yikes:

No view at all for some Liverpool fans. Stuck in a corner looking at the side of the away end with pitch view obscured by metalwork. May as well be outside looking after cars and gaining a useful income.

do we get 40% of the gate? or something like that
if the average ticket price is about £23 and 50k people turn up, that a handy £460k in the back pocket

If we do get 8K allocation I'd be very surprised if we did sell them all.

I know quite a few who are doing the wurzels trip, begrudgingly accepting the disgustingly priced tickets, but a Sunday lunchtime kick off all the way oop North has put many people off.

I queried this the other day and if memory serves apparently both teams get 45% of the gate and tv money.

Don't Cardiff have to commit to buying the full 8k to get the 8k allocation? So any risk is on Cardiff not Liverpool?

As someone else said a full 8k is unlikely particularly as still no news on tickets. I think we will agree 4 or 5k.

Liverpool is hardly "up north". It's only about 200 miles away.

Still need to leave at 7am to get there and there’s no public transport.

No chance we’ll sell 8k with a Sunday morning kick off. It’ll probably be closer to the 5k figure for the lower stand.

Not intending to be miserable here, but am I the only City fan who doesn't give a shit about this game?

Our plan is go up to Manchester on the Saturday and stay the night. Accommodation is cheaper and it’s, IMO, a better city to spend the night. 6 quid return for the train from Manc to Pool on the Sunday.
