    Re: Morison OUT

I just can't get my ahead around Rooney as a good manager but he's clearly doing something right, although you could argue he's in a no lose situation there because he's basically blameless if they end up bottom so anything good they do will be cheered to the rafters. Relatively pressure free in comparison to other jobs

This club's crying out for a Bellamy. If he came in, with all the youngsters that have now had a bit of experience and the inevitable clearout this summer I'd be more excited about next season than I have been for a long long time, even if we've been relegated

Agree wholeheartedly - needs to be a bit more measured in his immediate post match interviews

But he hasn't got time, he's only contracted for another 5 months

            Morison IN for me.
no point in changing anything before the summer, and let's see where he can take us.
he's the only manager we've had in the last god knows how long who isn't reaching for route one.
yes we've got a long way to go, but I'd prefer to be going in the correct direction at least.

if you'd have said that the side he inherited from Mick McCarthy would be without Moore and Giles then you'd have thought we would be truly awful, but we've been a lot better than the mess that was the end of the McCarthy days.
we initially improved under Morison, and we've now had a run of narrow defeats against some of the better sides in the division.

I wouldn’t call yesterday’s game a narrow defeat Blackburn didn’t get out of 2nd gear they beat us comfortably.

How comfortable is any team at 1-0

How do you know they didn't get out of 2nd gear - maybe we kept the out of it - I prefer to be positive about yesterday's performance as others are free to look at that game as they see fit

Not the time to sack him, but it is frustrating that he keeps picking 3 defensive CMs. 2 plus a more attacking option like Colwill or Sang would make a big difference I think. Maybe he'll play Doyle there if we get him.
I am worried that Bacuna's ban is over now though. If he's in the starting line-up on Saturday I might change my mind.

Bellamy has far more experience in a management role (although not as first team boss) than Rooney had before he took the manager's job at Derby yet Bellamy is discounted by some through lack of experience. Rooney is doing a good job but with far better players than we have. I think Bellamy, (even with his obvious character flaws) could do a decent job. However, Morison is not going to leave any time soon so speculating, as I have just done, is probably pointless.

How do I know, well I seen them a lot on quest this season, Mowbray has put a nice team together and they score great goals and we didn’t trouble them yesterday and the table don’t lie. I prefer to take my bluuubird tinted glasses off now and again.

I'm also worried about Bacuna's ban being over too. It seems like Vaulks for some weird reason is undroppable under SM. Will we return to the Pack, Vaulks, Bacuna triumvirate?

Agree with this - Said that all game yesterday that we missed that link between Ralls and wintle who were finding players in space and their pass success rate was good but there needed to be someone between Collins and Harris and the midfield two - vaulks is a passenger unfortunately
