Re: Replacements for Moore....
Most sites have him at 6 ft 3 and he is good in the air. Very physical . Not as good as Moore I’d say from what I’ve seen .Originally posted by The Lone Gunman View PostSmith has been linked before, a few times I believe. He's about 6ft 4", hence the links, especially when Warnock and McCarthy were here.
I have a supplier who’s a Rotherham fan and they love him there.
Good link up work, scores goals and puts the hard yards in.
Does a lot more than just score.
Not as talented as Moore, but probably a bit more aggressive .
He’s 30 now and has been with a LOT of clubs, mostly at lower levels.
Would represent a gamble, but is out of contract at the end of the season.
Rotherham would be keen to keep him as they are fighting for promotion and put a stupid price in his head in the summer.
Their chairman is also a bit of a madman.
Their other striker Freddie Ladapo may be a better shout in the long run.
He’s unsettled and has 12 goals in 29 appearances ( lots as sub) and is out of contract in the summer although Rotherham do have the option of another year.
He’s tall, but quicker from what I’ve seen
28 years old and again has spent most of his career in non league/ lower league

Re: Replacements for Moore....
Think his short term deal has expired and they're trying to get him to sign another one. Don't know if they're offering more than £1k a week now though. Supposed to have turned down an offer from Burnley too.Originally posted by stan butler View PostGood shout but what's his situation at Reading?
