  • Sunderland.

Who'd have thought a few years back that Patrick Roberts, Alex Pritchard and Jack Clarke (saw him playing for Leeds against our under 23s on that pitch across the way from Leckwith Stadium and he was outstanding) would be coming on as subs for a League One side that lost 6-0 yesterday?

Sunderland have always been a bit of a strange club and they've got a strange manager in Lee Johnson whose sides appear to climb the heights and plumb the depths a lot more often than others - I always associate Sunderland with that Netflix programme now and can imagine what the fans who featured regularly in it must be feeling like today.

You'd think they'd be nailed on for promotion, but they seem to be having a lot of problems getting out of League One. I think those Cardiff fans who think it might do us some good to get relegated, ought to take a look at Sunderland. They are a big club, attendance wise, yet they can't get out of that Division.

I completely agree. There is no benefit from being relegated whatsoever.

Hope that those who say it may be good to get relegated now see that it's not easy to get back.
