I'm not sure about weed and ecstacy at football, but coke is a very common and normalised drug now, including for blokes well into their 50's and above.

I should imagine it's pretty common amongst City's support. It's very common after a few beers too, so even if you didn't start the day intending to take it, it gets offered and used amongst peers.

I have only ever seen cocaine being taken twice (what a sheltered life I must lead): once in the toilets away at Brighton a few years back and this season in the stands at Bournemouth by two blokes in the row directly in front of me.

Bang on.
My friends from my pub days are nearer 60 than 50 all take a line or 6 .
Not joining in is seen as very anti social. Not something I partake in these days .

Weed in a cake twice, once knowingly, once not, is the limit of my drugs experience and as I was pissed both times and, thankfully, I tended to be a happy drunk, I can’t say how much it affected me - didn’t stop me getting the same hangover though

I've taken a lot of drugs in my time been in some right states, been thrown out of clubs on the odd occasion but never smashed things up and acted like a shameful dickhead.

Seems to be getting more common in middle aged people, 40/50’s…a few mates still partake as do lots of others in the pubs.
I’m still catching up on sleep I missed in the 90’s it’s not for me anymore and hasn’t been since my first born came along 10 yrs ago….
