Bit of a pain in the arse this club is.
Always too good for league 1, get promoted but never good enough for the championship. Looks like the same will happen next season

They've got quite a bizarre recent history. Since 1980 they've spent 11 seasons in the second tier. 5 of those saw them relegated while another 4 saw them finish 21st. 15th is their highest finish for 4 decades.

They've also gone down to the bottom tier 5 times since 1980 and won back to back promotions from the dungeon to the second tier twice. 18 of their season's since then have involved either promotion or relegation including 7 of the last 9.

Wonder what the odds on Will Vaulks being there next season are if they get promoted?

It is strange isn't it?. I guess we all have soft spots and favourite places..
Foe me I used to live near Lincoln.....(hated their supporters)....but loved going to Rotherham. (the old ground).....Notts County......Chesterfield..... great supporters that you could have a pint with before the match. Great friendly atmosphere.
Never been there...but also Accrington...Hartlepool.... Raith Rovers.....all results I look out for!!!!
