Without a doubt our worst moment footballing wise since we got promoted in 2003. What an embarrassing display of a total lack of ambition. Anyone defending the board and justifying it as a 'avoid relegation appointment', give your heads a wobble.

Not sure if a lot of the toddler style tantrums on here are sarcasm or not, but I feel McCarthy is a steady pair of hands, even if it's just short term.

He likes us too. He'll genuinely want to do a good job, and therefore has my backing.

Welcome Mick, get the boys energised.

The real worry is that it may not just be short term.

Agree that It was a great opportunity to sack Dalman and bring in a Director of Football to report directly to Mr Tan and Oversea Recruitment and the Academy etc with a Head Coach to manage the first team, tactics etc. Mark Hughes and Bellamy would be my choices! We are just going backwards appointing Mick McCarthy!

What is this with people saying Dahlman has to be sacked? Why?
What make people think he has to be gone before the club brings in a director of football? There is no law that says a company must sack 1 director before it appoints another?
