Bristol City convinced up to seven more Championship clubs face points deductions for FFP breaches.

Middlesbrough and Stoke also face severe scrutiny as Covid-inflicted collapse in transfer values makes it impossible to offset FFP losses.

Wouldn't Bristol City be one of the seven? They've spent big on some transfers in recent years and haven't had a premier league windfall to help them.

Wouldn't Bristol City be one of the seven? They've spent big on some transfers in recent years and haven't had a premier league windfall to help them.

They had a loss of £38m last year. The FFP limit is £39m over 3 years...

They had a loss of £38m last year. The FFP limit is £39m over 3 years...

And they have an Academy that produces players they’ve sold for big sums down the year.

The more clubs that have points deducted, the more the overall impact is dissipated.
If every club was deducted say 9 points, there wouldn't be any impact at all on finishing positions.
Unlikely I know 🙂
