  • Warnock.

Got to admit that Chelsea goal still grates with me partly because it was them who scored and also because it was so offside, but it’s the linesman (who still officiates in the Premier League most weeks I believe) that I hold responsible, not Azpilicueta - you can’t blame him for the linesman being an idiot.

Warnock's comments came after the Spaniard completed a clean sweep of every major club honour after Chelsea beat Palmeiras to lift the FIFA Club World Cup last Saturday.

We were definitely given the short end of the stick in that game. Big “so-called” side gets the preferential treatment. May have stayed up that season if that goal was disallowed. Who knows where it would have taken the Club.

We would have been stuck with Warnock forever.

The Liverpool games shows that VAR won't improve things. The bigger teams will still get the decisions.

We, like all fans, look through tinted glasses.
We were very hard done by in that game, but we’ve had some very lucky decisions go our way over the yrs.

I’m struggling to remember a worse offside decision than that anywhere in recent years.

The Samuel Eto goal was the one that pissed me off the most.

Barnsley's late one against us this season. That was poor.

Also in that Chelsea game Rudigervgot away with only a yellow card which should have been red …I think that game knocked the stuffing out of Warnock and the team…

Warnock was fined 20 grand for his comments
"We've got the best league in the world but the worst officials"
(10 for saying it at the time, another 10 for repeating it on the radio)

He tried to defend it but the powers won't ever go against their mates - he showed FOURTEEN examples of us getting a raw deal that season , only one went our way. We'd have easily stayed up.

Wayne Rooney booting one of our players up in the air .

It was an assault out on the street .

Should have been sent off , but nothing in the premier league have and have-nots decisions.

That was tight, and there’s about 6 Barnsley players offside and it happened at pace. Azpulicueta is starts offside, stays offside and scores offside. It’s a baffling decision
