Roughly about one pack (7 tests) per person. Plus consider many people have to regularly test as part of their job. As an initial thought, yes a large number but you can see easily why it’s so large. Then the side topic is obviously the cost of all of them. -

I have to take one before visiting my mum in her care home, the home previously supplied the tests and tested us on arrival. This changed to testing at home a few months ago. Not sure how long this will be in place but I'm happy to do it to keep her and the other residents and staff safe. If I end up having to pay for tests then so be it.Comment

The problem now with the end of free tests is how it’s going to prejudice those on low incomes who can’t afford them.
