Another pathetic VAR decision. Goals are being disallowed for ‘fouls’ not even claimed by the players concerned. It’s absolute nonsense.

Van Dyke was in an offside position when the ball was played.
He was deemed to be "active" as he blocked James's path and the "goal" was correctly disallowed.

VAR has been more of a hindrance since its introduction but this time it was correctly used.

The decision was a joke and the goal would never have been disallowed in any game that didn’t have some dickhead sat in a studio watching countless replays. Farcical.
