  • Memo to Morison

Your main task is to produce a creative midfield that has pace. Defenders who can defend and move forward. Give our forwards more chances to score. Improve ball retention and be less predictable.
Good progress so far but more needed.
    Good luck.

I think Morison realises this. Every team needs a Wintle in it in front of the back four and we have improved a lot in that area since he came back in but bringing Doyle in on loan was the telling one for creativity and ball retention purposes and Doyle has done a good job for someone so young, even when allowing for some inconsistency due to his age and inexperience.

129 days ago we were beaten 2 nil at home by a pretty ordinary Warnock M'Boro (I know they've improved under Wilder) in McCarthys last game - we were utterly clueless

That day we had 4 defenders
      Ng Flint McGuiness Brown (FFS)

      The Midfield
      Vaulks Pack Colwill Giles

      Up Front
      Harris Collins

We were lucky to get 0 with those strikers and that midfield is not what you call hard working or creative

The less said about Brown the better

We have a new system, we defend better, the midfield works so much harder and we have strikers who are better than where we were (Kieffer did not want to be here)

We may have gone down - we wont now

We are a long way from being a bloody good outfit but he's changed us into a decent difficult to beat side in 4 months not playing hit and hope football

We'll never see Pack, Bacuna, Brown, Nelson and probably Collins gain which was half of Micks team

I think he's got the memo

We’ll also hopefully never see 5 CBs start or Nelson on the right wing!

Be interesting to see if he tries a few things now relegation is looking unlikely. I’d like to seen Denham get some game time and maybe McGuinness in the centre of the three.

There’s a lad called King who’s in u23 squad who receives very good reviews

As in the lad who played the Liverpool game and been on the bench? I agree we might see more of him in next few weeks. Now the time to find out who will be up to it next season.

He wouldn't play in a midfield though would he.

We have a number of young players who could prove to be good. Of course they need games to prove that.
If I were to rate loanee Drameh’s chances of being a regular stater if he were stay with us as being 8 from 10 I’m not sure what I would score Colwill, Davies, King, Harris etc

Perhaps he could ,many players evolve as they mature , he has good balance , can pass , move forward quickly, who knows ?? its just a personal thought?
