Even my partner who knows zilch about boxing said it was a travesty .....which it was...

I remember my ex stayed up to watch the boxing with me once, and about 30 seconds into the fight she goes
"oh my god, he just punched him in the face! are they allowed to do that?!"
When I assured her that it is allowed she said
"oh, no I don't like that" and went to bed.

this has really got me

Reminds me of Peter Crouch in his autobiography saying his wife has absolutely no interest in football, to the extent that once when he was playing for Liverpool she rung him at 1450 asking where he was

My Mrs hates football with a passion. I once persuaded her to sit down and watch a game on TV with me. She did well till the 46th minute, when all of a sudden, she said ‘why are they kicking the other way now’ when i explained to her, she said ‘ do the fans change ends as well?’ 😂😂

After seeing a number of City games in our early years, I took my wife to Anfield. After 20 minutes she asked when were they going to start.
