Electronic season ticket not working?

Anybody else have this issue? I downloaded my season ticket to my Apple Wallet and it worked fine until last few games where no matter where I held it against the scanner it wouldn’t read. I had my card on me both times so used that and it worked but just wondered if anybody else has had issues with theirs?

Yes I had the same issue Saturday. Didn’t have my card but the steward swiped me through (sadly).

Worked fine at the Wales game.
I’m a bit of a traditionalist with the City and use the card.

Several people in front of me were having the same issue with their “phone tickets” at a recent Welsh game.
I noticed that the person in front of me inserted his phone into the slot, instead of against the wireless symbol, and that let him through. I followed his lead and had no problem.

You can do either can't you?
If you have the bar code on your screen then insert your phone.
If you use google/apple pay and have NFC activated on your phone then just use the wireless symbol.

I've had it on my Google pay but the couple times I've tried it hasn't worked.
