He played 90 minutes in both friendlies last week which seems a bit unnecessary.
    Oh well, never mind.

Time for another ex-City player to step in maybe? Surprised he hasn't already been mentioned in this thread - Callum Paterson.

If it works don't knock it !

Seriously though, for whatever reason they do have a very good success rate with us and by and large they're not lacking in the basic skills that seem to beset our other recruits.

What a great question. Top of my head here goes:

                Marshall
                Supermac, Murray, Malloy, Quinn
                Buchanan, Gibson Cowie
                Burke, Ferguson, McCormack

                Subs
                Eadie
                Farrell
                Conway
                Rae
                McCulloch

Funnily enough I just came across Alan Campbell's name when I started looking for Scottish footballers I'd overlooked. He would probably get close to being in our Scottish first XI, Freddie possibly a bench warmer. Oh and Kenny Miller could bring on the oranges at half time.

Seeing as you’ve gone back in years to include Hugh Ferguson surely Jimmy Blair should be in instead of Quinn.

Interesting anecdote involving Blair. Something that, perhaps, has only happened the once. He and Fred Keenor captained Scotland & Wales respectively in 1924 in an international played on their own club’s ground. Obviously it’s happened that players from the same club have captained their countries in the same match but doubtful that it’d be on the ground where they plied their trade.

There is a photo of them shaking hands at the start of the game somewhere on the world wide web.

Reading this set me thinking imagine if we had a player like John Buchanan playing for us last Saturday
                              There's a player that always gave 100%

I was thinking of including Dougie Blair, who was a forward but completely overlooked his dad Jimmy who played in the cup final. So yes, Quinn out J Blair in. Good shout.
