I'm shocked at those facts.

Of course everyone looks old when you're a kid but Shankley and Paisley always looked like proper old men.

Clough retiring at 58 is also a surprise.
The booze took its toll mind.

People looked much older back then. I can remember my grandparents in their 50s. Wrinkled, grey, out of shape, false teeth, the lot.
