I can't help but thinking that, at his age, he should be plying his trade at better that Weston Super Mare.

Does anyone ever use phrases like "playing his trade" other than when referring to footballers?

Sex workers are often described as plying their trade.

                    - Terry Waite.
                    - It's not as if I have a choice.

Things I wish I'd said 30 years ago.

Interesting - that looks like a few steps up from Weston!

Manager is (the?) Kevin Sheedy. Asst Manager is (the?) Mike Newell. Daryl Murphy is the main striker.

The first choice goalkeeper is Brian Murphy - who I think is the Brian Murphy formerly of our parish!

That’s definitely a move more in line with his ability- hope it goes well for him.

The Plymouth Argyle of the Ireland Premier Division. Let's hope it's a good loan and comes back a stronger player ready to compete for his chance with senior side.
