Left the Simple Minds gig after ten minutes tonight and requested a full refund. The sound system was truly appalling.

I gave the sound engineers a chance to sort it out. It was the worst gig sound-wise that I have attended in many years.
Sarky remarks about attending the gig in the first place are to be tolerated, of course 😊

Hmm surprising. That’s been fairly good for sound quality when I’ve been to gigs. Normally I find it’s the smaller venues like the Globe, Clwb Ifor Bach, Fuel, etc where a good sound tech really makes a difference.

Had their day. Probably great acoustics just no substance.

Motorpoint has always been awful when I've been there. Admittedly that isn't often and not for years.
