I’m looking at going to World Cup if we qualify any suggestions please on cheapest method of doing this looked at flights atm they don’t seem a issue but accommodation might be stumbling block has anyone heard of fan villages being set up any ideas would be gratefully received

Started looking into it but it soon became apparent that the costs were horrendous.
It was also very difficult to establish what exactly was on offer to supporters in terms of socialising outside of officially sanctioned packages. Frankly, as someone who likes to travel independently it was pretty obvious that this was not an easy option.
I am fortunate in that I have done a few world Cups over the years so it is not such a big deal to not bother with this one.
It’s an armchair and the TV for me.
