Stockport lost as well and they need to play each other - looks like an exciting end to the season with a few games to play

A tall order to overhaul Stockport, great win for Yeovil today though, but would be a brilliant for Wrexham to do it. Great incentive for the team to reward their fans with the World Cup play off final clashing with the National League play off final. Would be a hell of an achievement given Stockport’s domination of the table.

Looks like the play offs, too much ground to make up now, I reckon.

I’ve seen Wrexham play much better than that recently. They looked like us on a bad day today - lots of hoofing, the ball never under control and poor first touches everywhere. It was very basic stuff from a team managed by someone who has a reputation as a long ball merchant - huge opportunity missed and, if they have to go through the Play Offs, they’ll have a huge target on their backs.

That was a big chance to close the gap to four points. They should still finish top three and have a home semi final
                bough.

There is the worry that they've won a few tight games that they maybe haven't deserved to win. Today was their chance to really put pressure on Stockport. There'll be a lot of pressure on Wrexham for the next few games. Top 3 is still no way guaranteed.

They should get over the line from here but today was a big missed opportunity. The play offs won’t be easy and they will be the team with the weight of expectations. Really hope they can do it.

                      Re: Wrexham

Stockport have now lost twice in last three, first time they lost Wrexham drew, and second time they lost Wrexham lost as well.

They could have been 2 points behind with 5 games to play, including one Vs Stockport.

7 points to make up in 5 games isn’t impossible though.

I would love to be a Wrexham fan right now either way.

Since we lost two old League clubs yesterday I hope we regain two this season. Any two of the contenders except Solihull Moors would satisfy me. Luckily the odds are in favour.

Oldham have delivered some good footballers, must be tough for those fans who have supported them over the last 40 years or so ?
