Hi All

I had a few texts today that i had been missed

So just to let you all know I am still alive and Well ( apart from lack or smell and taste ( which is slightly coming back, i can tell the difference between sweet and Savoury ), oh and a bit of fatigue in the late afternoon )

I took a bit of a break, i did PM Mike about it, but i obviously didnt hit send ( i was feeling rough at the time and i was struggling ) a little short of breath ( the mrs wanted to phone for a Ambulance one night ), i had a blinding headache and felt like crap, the final straw was a email from someone on here saying "I hope you get to see a family member suffer and die and then you die ", I wasnt in a great place ( due to covid ) this was just pure evil, not sure what i have done to have that directed at me :shrug::shrug::shrug: so i decided to give this place a little bit of a swerve

thanks for the messages, i will reply to them in a bit

What a really shocking and disgusting thing to send to you or anyone . I hope you have dealt with it in an appropriate way. Obviously scum.
On a brighter note glad you are on the road to recovery. Keep well and strong.

Jesus. That's horrible. I didn't realise people were anonymous even to moderators. Glad to hear you're on the mend. What's your take on the MM appointment? Or can't you be arsed to think about it just yet?

Sometimes folk are just pure evil and poorly educated.

Struggling to understand how someone could be so motivated to send such a vile message .

Thankfully the majority on the board are fine .

I wouldn’t worry about the taste coming back, your love of Disney always made me think you never had great taste anyway 😉

Good to hear that Matt is okay and I can only agree with what's been said about the person who sent him that message - if, for whatever reason, a decision has been made not to name and shame them, I trust that they have at least been banned from this messageboard?

I don’t understand how anyone could be so low, I understand there are conflicts on here but surely not to say that !

Anyway, Glad to hear you are on the mend .

I had COVID in December, without initially showing any of the 3 main symptoms but went for a test anyway because I didn’t feel 100% and my wife had the cough and was tested positive ! luckily we had “mild” cases but I had a few dodgy nights with my chest and generally felt like I had a bad hangover for days and just fatigued.

I don't post on here much these days... too busy with work etc, but I am glad you are back and making a recovery

Similar. I had it last March.. before it went mainstream... I was an early adopter of COVID :) :)

As I travel quite a bit it wasn't a surprise looking back that I caught it. Probably India or Dubai.

A few days of a bad chest, short of breath and loss of taste... but not so serious. The fatigue was a real shocker though... my goodness, I am usually so active, it just knocked me for 6.

Glad people on here are getting over it. Its such a insidious virus.
