Next match: Pre-season. Saturday, July 11th | FC Midtjylland (H) @ Cardiff City Stadium, 12:30pm -
All pre-season fixtures
A clean sweep for the West Country in League Two then:
FGR pipped Exeter to the title but both teams are automatically promoted along with Rovers - and Swindon are in the play-offs.
As for Taunton Town, they won the Southern League Premier South title and have been promoted to the 6th tier of English football for the first time.
They will be singing in the cider orchards tonight.......
The Taunton boys have been singing all week. Great achievement. Nick Grimes also in team of the season. Too good for that level. (Brother of a certain captain of the Jacks)
Yeah I’ve always had a soft spot for Rovers, lived in north Bristol for a few years and not that fussed on the red side
my fellow football coach grew up living in st George and could hear the the crowds at eastville by all accounts, he is a massive gashead, he has had a few drinks :hehe:

Reminiscent of the Preston 6-0 debacle (at least I think it was Preston, I was very drunk around that period of my life)
It was indeed Preston. It was one of those days when you just wanted to hide. My son lived about a mile from the ground & i stayed with him, so I couldn’t even hide after the match either.
