  • Re: Bluebirds transfer rumours

McGuinness might be on a 24 hour call back or similar clause, Nelson just needs to find his level in Div 1
With both gone we still have 4 who are competing for 2 spots

I wouldn’t. For months we’ve been told the club will need to cut costs this season, so carrying five centre backs (if that’s where Morison is planning to continue to use Ng) is excessive.

Also if Collins’ injury does turn out to be a bad one, the manager will probably need to bring in more cover at left-back.

Don’t think you can do that these days.

All in the last year of their contracts I believe apart from McGuinness.

Think this is trying to get some out before bringing at least one more in.

Just checked the EFL regulations. Players can only be loaned for half a season or a full season. An early recall clause can only be inserted into full-season loan contracts, and can be activated during the Winter transfer window only.

Would have expected Denham to be one of the ones loaned out but sounds like he could be staying.

                  I hadn't realised that, 👍

yes but u just can't see him breaking into the side at the moment, I'd rather see Colwill get minutes when they're available

You can’t carry a squad of nearly 30 players.

With all the players we’ve brought in there was obviously going to have to be some going out.
