    Can't stand twitter myself. Yet I'm still on there because it's the best way to stay informed when it comes to certain things. Wish it wasn't. Completely agree with you in that it's a cesspit and a playground for sad little trolls.

    That Hull goal. So good. He had no right being able to get into that position. All heart from the skipper.

    He's a lot tougher than me so here's hoping all the social media hate is water off a duck's back for him.

      Prior to the season he bagged all those goals, Forest were allegedly interested in Whittingham for £2m. My experience of other City fans was that there were several who would have sold him.

      In his last season or two, when it was clear that his influence on the pitch was on the wane, there were questions as to whether he deserved to be a regular starter. Some thought he needed to be if only for set pieces, others felt it was time for him to move on.

      I can't remember Whitts ever getting abuse, though; McPhail certainly did.
