    Snowflake mosh pit.

Having moshed in Bad Brains, Big Black , Buthole Surfers pits , one looks upon these as Sunday school pop concerts .

I'm sure a few had masks on ??

Yeah, I know that band. I was just taken by the fact that a semi-obscure niche guitar band could make it onto the Jimmy Kimmel show. Turns out they were also on the Tonight Show too. Will this mainstream success lead to a renaissance of guitar based music? They are booked to play Glastonbury next month, so it will be interesting to see if they make it onto the big stage. And you are right about Turnstile not being pure hardcore, they are more hybrid, but it's good to see that their latest album has really taken off.

Aye sorry pal, I’d had a few pops at the cricket and hope that didn’t come across too snarky. Had a similar moment when I was young with At The Drive In on Jools Holland way back. One of those occasions where an underground band and sound gets some mainstream exposure and one of those moments that helped change my musical life.

World is a different place now in terms of the ease of seeking out and finding more obscure music but if it leads some young viewer on their own musical voyage of discovery then all power to them 👍

And there was me thinking that hardcore was a harder dance music, such as rave. The disappointment on clicking the link was immense!
