Sounds about right. They went up through the playoffs. They're a decent Championship team with a good manager. They're going half a dozen quality players.

Seems they have ambition to give it a good go next year and it shows they have faith in the manager.

BTW, whether referring to them as "Notts Forest" is right or wrong, I have definitely heard them called that before.

I am aware of their proper name , however , I’ve called them Notts , Nottingham Forest and Forest since 1979, and so have plenty of others I know. The pedants clearly have the hump with this

There's no crime or shame in calling them Notts Forest. But it's Notts County. Nottingham Forest. The abbreviated "Notts" County is the actual name of the club.
