    Re: Glastonbury thread

Neer went. Was never interested to be honest. I'm not really into festivals. Too many bands I don't care to see, bad weather and especially camping. I've been to a few festivals abroad that were OK, but the British ones are the worst.

      Anything else worth watching?
Haim, Katy J Pearson, Big Joanie, Yard Act are all pretty good imo

I am afraid that a comfortable bed, clean toilet and an early night are top of my needs these days.

Probably my loss and McCartney, aged 80, may be putting me to shame but the BBC allow me to watch in comfort.
I can't see Macca in a two-man tent and queueing for a tom tit.

Seen Fontaines D.C a number of times recently, possibly my favourite band around at the moment. Surprised not in a more prominent slot.

The JAMC/Primal Scream double header in John Peel has the potential to be rocking (Wonder if Bobby G will get on the old drums again for JAMC).

I'd say Warmduscher well worth a watch, two great albums behind them now, brilliant live.

I'll be seeking out Jarv Is, Sleaford Mods, Cate Le Bone and Avalanches on iPlayer too, in fact most of The Park stage line up looks pretty good.

That’s the way….I saw kings of Leon on the pyramid stage and had no memory of it at all until I saw it on tv when I got home a few weeks later….god know how I survived. The guy in the next tent must have brought 5000 E’s with him

                              Pheonix Festival 96 was incredible.

Bowie, Neil Young, Bjorn, Sexton Pistols were the headliners.

                              Then you had...
Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Beck, Placebo, Cocteau Twins, Cypress Hill, Foo Fighters, Manic Street Preachers, Placebo, GZA, Flaming Lips, Gene, Super Furry Aninimals.

Arguably the worst line up of Glasto ever in my opinion
