Re: Love....Forever Changes
I have bought it twice too. Both times in vinyl. Oddly I found the album cover in my record collection with the vinyl missing. Couldn’t find it so bought it again. Arthur Lee was a genius.Originally posted by severncity View PostIt’s the only album I’ve bought twice. I wore out the original CD i bought in 1990 so bought a second one about 10 years ago. Every song is a winner

No, just Elektra in general I think. I probably got into the Stooges first, then the Doors, then Love.Originally posted by splott parker View PostWaiting for the Sun by any chance?
I still can't find Forever Changes. I listened to Hunky Dory and the La's instead. I listened to Joy Division for much of yesterday. I might get into some Beach Boys later. Or I might just listen to BJM and the Dandy Warhols because that's what I always do. Because I'm old and boring.

Re: Love....Forever Changes
It's weird, I love the Dandy Warhols, but the last record of theirs that I like came out over 20 years ago. I've seen them a bunch of times but have not bothered recently because their setlists didn't look good to me. Their setlist for the current European tour looks banging. Wish I could be there.Originally posted by Wash DC Blue View PostPretty much!

Re: Love....Forever Changes
So did the Damned. Including my fellow Barrian and friend Bryn Merrick. Walking in the desert in the video. He was good mate, did some great stuff with the Damned and was a great musician. But that point was the beginning of the end.Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostUFO did a cover of alone again or
It sounds very dated now , the original doesn't
