Think I'll hobble down to this one and maybe have something cold to drink on the way back.

I wonder if that's due to the weather

Partly, but also because I like Guinness.

Yes, I should think so - they’ll be playing a fifteen minute match on Saturday if the forecast’s right.

I'm trying to buy tickets but when I use the link in the story about the match which says "book your tickets here", the ticket shop loads up and every friendly is listed bar Newport? Is it just too late?

Edit scrap that it appears right at the bottom after all the league games

Are County bringing loads of casuals to beat us all up ?

Because if you went with the main train lot Newport were nowhere to be seen

But if you were in small groups it was another story

New plan. This heat means I should make The Grange OK but might have to make that base camp. Stay hydrated. If I'm up to it after that, hobble to The Cornwall and see if it's any cooler before the final push to Asda's chilled food section and the Leckwith summit.

One to tickle you CN, I went over to watch Bridgend Street in a friendly last Saturday, my mate’s grandson was in goal and he told us they were going to play three halves because of the heat.:hehe:
