This case was pure comedy gold. There's so much that had me laughing but my personal favourite:

In another bizarre exchange, the barrister referred to Ms Watt's (Vardy's agent) claim that she had lost her phone after it had fallen off a boat into the North Sea.

He said it was now 'lying at the bottom of sea in Davy Jones' locker',' only for Rebekah to ask the court: 'Who is Davy Jones?' :hehe:

Edit: Side question. Was Watt's on a f*cking trawler? I mean, we've all been in rough seas in the North Sea when our boat's been hit by a wave (shock) and thought 'bugg*er me, if only I'd kept this £900 iPhone safely in my pocket' Unless it was so bad she was calling the lifeguard.
