Strikers and Goals

Alarming stat in Glen Williams latest piece in the WM:

"Cardiff's four strikers are all aged between 20 and 23. Between them, they have 95 Championship appearances and just nine goals".

That is a massive gamble and really surprising considering the effort that’s been put into the other areas of the pitch.

We really do need an experienced striker in ASAP!

We could have Ronaldo or Messi up top but they wouldn't score because we have created next to nothing in the final 3rd so far this season.

When we walked the championship under Malky, didn't our top scorer only have about 7 or 8?

We could have Ronaldo or Messi up top but they wouldn't score because we have created next to nothing in the final 3rd so far this season.

or any other season.. but you're right no point getting a proven striker if you're only going to clog the ball into touch/goal kick/ opposing defenders/keepers hands.

Yeah I think Helguson was top scorer that season and I don't think he got into double figures
