How can Tuchel say his team were better ? Classless after more than one game last season, classless on Sunday afternoon aswell. What is it with Germans. Klopp is on a par with him ,too.

Thought this for several months.
When you look at their players scattered across the world, there's a decent team there.
Of course, England have a bit of World Cup history against the USA too....

Chelsea weren't better, Leeds overran them and forced them into mistakes, and I was impressed with their new American coach.

I can even see Tuchel getting fired if it all goes pear shaped. The new owner is clueless about football, so he is depending on Tuchel to give him recommendations for new players. The trouble is Tuchel is like a kid in a sweetshop, and they are bidding way over the odds for these players. It's no wonder everybody want's to play for Chelsea, they are an easy mark. The only players turning them down are the ones who want to win trophies

When you look at their players scattered across the world, there's a decent team there.
Of course, England have a bit of World Cup history against the USA too....

I think we will be surprised by how far they have come as a team, and they will probably be expecting a win in this fixture.

The USA team have climbed the world rankings after what had been a slow but gradual decline. To my mind, they've always been favourites for the World Cup game, but not huge ones - I've not got a clue how good or bad Iran will be, but we'll do well to beat America.

Yes, but we will be expecting to win the game too, as will they. It should be a good match, and it will all be down to which team turns up on the day.
