Lets hope your right I really do and we climb the league. I really fear for us though and we havent the physical advantages to fall back on either. I genuinely think we are going down and the demand for a change in style has been too much.
Call me a madman by all means, but I don't think fans 'demanding' that their club fields a team of professional footballers who can pass the ball to each other and move around a bit is too outrageous. After all, most other Championship clubs seem to manage that without too many problems.
I can understand your frustration with the current situation, but I think you've lost the plot a bit this evening. The current mess hasn't been brought about by the supporters. It's the manager, his coaching staff and his players who are responsible. Morison and his assistants put this side together and they dictate the tactics, while the players need to put in performances. As things stand, they are all getting key decisions wrong on a regular basis. However, it's way too early in the season to conclude that the club is hurtling towards relegation.
Having only seen City play once this season on Sky v Birmingham, it was the most encouraging game I’ve seen in a while, except for not taking chances.
So what’s the difference since this game? What’s not happening?
The clues were there in the Birmingham game to an extent in that it showed us the poor finishing which goes a long way towards explaining our pathetic goalscoring record (we're averaging 0.44 of goal per competitive game now), but that match was not representative of our how few chances we create. At the time of the Birmingham game, we'd only conceded one really poor goal (the penalty at Reading), but, since then we've let in four really soft set piece goals - yesterday, looked like a side that wanted to be somewhere else, they were just the sort of team a Millwall side that had lost their last three matches would have wanted to face on their own pitch.
