  • Off Topic: B&B recommendations

As usual for this kind of thing I've left it to the last minute to try and sort a hotel / B&B for the Liam Gallagher gig at Alexandra head on Thurs 15th of this month.

Looking for a place for me and the Mrs, I don't think the train home is an option as the last one leaves Central at 23.15 and I'm nervous we won't get a taxi from the bay to Central in time to get there.

Cheapest Travel Lodge is about 140 quid, but I'm too tight to pay that!

Any accommodation recommendations please? (No need for the "I recommend not going" posts!! :D

    Thanks

Prem Inn in Barry will be 70 quid

20ish quid from the bay to Barry uber fare

    90 quid

Why not try Trivago or Booking.com.

There is Travel Lodge, Premier Inn and Future Inn down the Bay, though you've probably left it a bit late to get a cheap room. Taxis will be hard to get after the gig, so you may have to hike back into town.

All look expensive on booking other than one b&b for about £60, but it doesn’t look amazing

Have too much to drink and cause a bit of a fracas and the police will put you up for the night in the cells in Cardiff Bay .
They'll let you out in the morning and you can be on your way.

How about an Air BnB ? There must be hundreds in the Cardiff area .
