It was unique 30 years ago. Look at Man U fans. They are the most inventive in the business when it comes to unique football chants. They don’t get one good chant and rest on their laurels for decades.

They're not proper supporters though because Sludge says so.

We still go on about 1927!!!!

They still sing about Cantona, Georgie Best but also make up new unique chants too. Their Giggs will tear you apart to Joy Division has been copied all across the country

It makes me weep when I see all those little kids on the mascot videos, all doing the Ayatollah WITHOUT SLAPPING THEIR HEADS! Just sort of fanning the air. It's our that this might be to avoid concussion injuries in the very young, but it is not a good example to set. Do it properly, or don't bother.

The history of the ayatollah is part of our club and I am happy to say I got well and truly soaked through on the away terrace at Lincoln City the day it was started by Eric The Red
