Surprised at Gabbs suggesting bringing someone more experienced in to help Morison.
Can you imagine the walking inflated ego that is Steve Morison, listening to anyone else?
Doubtful at best.

he said it was harsh and thought he should have been given more time.

In a nutshell even the pundits were shocked at Morison’s sacking although Gabbs did say that he’d heard a rumour he’d be sacked after the Middlesbrough game
The main point they all agreed on was the lack of communication from the club
We as football fans are loyal but we should have had a statement from Dalman or Choo explaining their actions
But we haven’t!!
That’s a PR disaster by the club 🤔

Nothing new really, plenty of insinuation that something more might have gone on behind the scenes, although we all pretty much suspect as much already.

Same here, that was surprising to be fair.
I would assume that there must have been some truth in Tan getting short of patience if that were the case.
Surprising though, given that most fans were still behind him at that point.

I guess ultimately, the owner holds that right and that power. It is, after all, a results driven business these days.
I can't say I'd have been happy with the toothless performances or the results to be fair to him.
